NYDC organizes a continuing series of activities in Boston area communities, including leadership conferences, health fairs, musical presentations, and other live performances.  These events fall into three categories, annual events, recurring events, and ongoing activities, and are in addition to our ongoing teaching, mentoring and coaching programs. Many of these activities are conducted outdoors, which becomes a problem in Boston during the winter months, so many of the activities take place when it isn’t snowing here.

The underlying purpose of these activities is to give our students hands-on life experience with the skills it takes to organize, promote and execute events and activities ranging from musical performances to community gatherings, all of which contribute to the development of the leadership skills we want to promote.

We are always in the market for new ideas, for collaborative relationships through which we can expand the scope of our courses and our events.  If you have an idea, we want to hear about it.
